Problems With Pipes

Sweating - Exposed cold water pipes, usually in the basement, drip and create puddles on the floor.  The dripping is more prevalent in the summertime when the pipes collect and condense water from the air.  The problem can be easily resolved by wrapping the pipes in insulating material.  The most effective is the waterproof  wrap available at your hardware store.  It is easy to apply - much like you'd wrap a bandage on an arm or leg.
