Jerry was a broker that specializes in representing clients
in the purchase and sale of single-family residences and income
property within the cities of Columbia, Lexington, Chapin, Irmo,
Lake Murray, Blythewood, West Columbia, Forest Acres, and St.
Andrews. He kept abreast of all transactions in these areas,
and was also very knowledgeable about all the local schools.

Jerry was active
in real estate for over 17 years, specializing in the sale of
single-family homes in and around the Columbia, Lexington, Irmo
and Blythewood areas of South Carolina. He resided in Chapin
SC. Jerry was a seasoned broker and the host of the only real
estate radio talk show in the Carolinas for the past fourteen
years. Jerry had actively sought to continue his real estate
education and had attained the prestigious Certified Residential
Specialist designation as well as that of Certified Buyers'
Representative. Both of these designations take years to acquire,
involving many hours of classroom instruction and many successful
residential closings.
While with RE/MAX
Real Estate Service, Jerry had achieved a host of honors. He
was a member of the RE/MAX 100% Club each year, beginning with
his first full year at RE/MAX 1993. He was a member of the RE/MAX
Platinum Club from 1995 through 1998. He made the RE/MAX Hall
of Fame in 1997. From 1995 through 1998, he was the top-producing
agent for RE/MAX in the entire Columbia SC area in the number
of closed transactions, and was ranked tenth out of 1,342 RE/MAX
agents in the North and South Carolina region.
In January 1998,
Jerry started Jerry Fowler & the Results Team Realtors in
an effort to take his level of service even higher. Jerry's
operation was and still is completely computerized to ensure
that not a single detail is overlooked, whether you are buying
or selling. Jerry was one of the only agents in the area that
makes his marketing plan an addendum to the listing agreement.

Education
Jerry graduated from high school in 1964. He attended Pembroke State University, majoring in marketing andpsychology. Throughout his real estate career he's continued his education, taking many special focus classes on marketing and selling. He also taught a goal-setting course in the Columbia area.
Professional Affiliations
Jerry was one of the founding members of the Business Development
Club (BDC) and the Director of the BDC Nationwide, past member
of the Lexington Toastmasters, currently a member of the National
Association of REALTORS, State and the local REALTORS associations.
Jerry teached the new Realtor orientation program to motivate
new Realtors to be the best they can be. Jerry belonged to the
Consolidated Multiple Listing Service and a member of Greater
Columbia Home Builder Association.

Jerry served on the Top Producer Panel for the South Carolina Association of Realtors.
Jerry was named the Man of the Year for the South Carolina chapter of the Leukemia Society of America. He was selected to sit on the board of trustees for the State Leukemia Society in 1998 and was elected secretary for the State Leukemia Association beginning in the year 2000.
Jerry had been a member of the Super Star Panel
for the Columbia Board of Realtors as well as the State Association
of Realtors. Jerry sits on the South Carolina Association
of Realtors Technology Committee, which is charged
with bringing area Realtors into the new age and introducing
them to the latest technologies.
Jerry also teached Realtor Orientation for
all the new Realtors that enter the Columbia Association of
Realtors. In Feburary of 2006 Jerry started teaching classes
with the Real Estate School for Success in Columbia.
Jerry sat on the Board of Trustees with the Better Business
Bureau and was on a special ad review committee for
the BBB.
Jerry was elected in November 2004, by a large majority of voters
to represent the taxpayers as a trustee on the Lexington/Richland
School District 5 school board. School district 5 is
the number one school district in South Carolina.
He was elected as the boards secretary and in 2006 and in 2007
and 2008 was elected as vice-chair.
In January of 2005, 2006 and 2007 served as the chairman of the board for the Better Business Bureau for 15 Counties in South Carolina.
